Role: Warehouse Operative (with Reach Truck Licence)

Location: Flitwick

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:00AM - 17:30PM, Fridays 14:45PM

Salary: £26,0000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience. 

Must Drive due to location

OA are currently working with a well established, family owned client based in Flitwick, currently looking to recruit for an experienced, Warehouse Operative with a valid Reach Truck licence, to join the team.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles by hand or with MHE.
• Ability to operate PPT/ Forklift (reach truck and counterbalance)
• Occasional admin/office based responsibilities.
• Picking & packing orders for despatch ensuring a high level of accuracy using hand held scanners.
• Manage stock and prepare transfers for loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
• Operate within tightknit team of operatives and liaise with other departments.
• Ability to move between departments production/bulk/Ecommerce.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality and production standards

What we would like from you:

• Previous experience within a Warehouse environment
• MUST have a Reach Truck Licence
• Counterbalance, PPT, VNA is preferred also
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to do heaving lifting and loading
• Flexible with working hours and overtime
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• WMS experience essential
• Organised, pro-active & positive attitude.
