Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Social Media Officer to join Cheshire and Warrington Combined Authority on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, Key Responsibilities Create, schedule and publish engaging content across all social media platforms, ensuring accuracy, accessibility and brand consistency. Produce high-quality graphics, short-form videos, animations and other multimedia content tailored to different audiences and platforms. Monitor social media channels, responding to comments and messages whilst escalating issues where appropriate. Work collaboratively with communications teams across constituent councils and partner organisations to deliver coordinated messaging. Support statutory consultations by producing clear, accessible and engaging digital content. Monitor social media performance using analytics tools and make recommendations to improve engagement and reach. Assist with digital marketing campaigns, including paid social media activity. Provide rapid social media support during breaking news, incidents and reputational issues. About You Previous experience managing or delivering social media content within a professional or public-facing organisation. Excellent understanding of social media platforms, current trends, algorithms and audience engagement.
