Quantity Surveyor - Utilities and Infrastructure West London 500 to 600 per day - Inside IR35An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering major utilities diversions as part of a much larger, high profile infrastructure project. The Quantity Surveyor will be required on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months. This role is inside IR35 and the successful candidate will be paid via an umbrella company.The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for multiple work packages and tasked with carrying out final accounts on completed works and live commercial management of an NEC Option C gas diversion project. ResponsibilitiesFinal account negotiationsManaging compensation events, payment applications, change, forecasting and cost controlEnsuring compliance with all contract mechanisms and reporting requirementsMinimise commercial exposure through rigorous administration Essential RequirementsDemonstrable NEC Option C experienceProven track record in final accounting of complex infrastructure packagesExperience in commercial governance, change control and subcontract managementAvailable immediately DesirableGas or utilities diversion experienceMajor programme / tier-one contractor background The rate on offer is 500 to 600 and will be dependent on your experience.
