This is an opportunity offering high-quality work, stability and long-term career progression.The RoleYou will manage your own caseload of contentious probate matters and support the wider litigation team.Key responsibilities include:Managing a caseload appropriate for a full-time fee earnerConducting pre-claim investigations, legal research and case assessmentsAdvising clients on contentious probate disputesDrafting pleadings, statements of case and pre-issue documentationEnsuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules, SRA requirements and relevant legislationAttending court hearings and conferences (with or without counsel)Preparing court bundles, exhibits and evidenceLiaising with clients, counsel and third partiesAssisting with larger or complex claims handled by senior colleaguesSupervising and mentoring junior team membersManaging files, deadlines and administrative requirementsAbout YouSolicitor or CILEX qualifiedExperience in contentious probate or litigation (5+ years desirable but not essential)Strong understanding of CPR and litigation processesExcellent communication and client-care skillsHighly organised with the ability to manage competing prioritiesDiscreet and professional when handling sensitive mattersProactive, self-
