Production Manager

Responsibilities:
As a Production Manager, you will:
- Lead production and quality management efforts, ensuring the highest standards of product quality.
- Plan and oversee maintenance activities and logistics operations.
- Drive safety initiatives and continuous improvement programmes across the organisation.
- Train and develop team leaders and operatives, setting and monitoring performance KPIs.
- Foster relationships with internal departments and external suppliers to maintain seamless operations.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Qualifications:
- Six Sigma Green Belt
- Lean Manufacturing expertise
- ILM Level 4/5 or NVQ Diploma in Management
- IOSH Managing Safely certification
- NEBOSH (desirable)
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in a production management role within a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record in team leadership and achieving operational excellence.
Strong background in health, safety, and environmental programme management.
Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement.
Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
- Familiarity with UK employment laws and regulations.
- Technical proficiency in maintenance management systems and logistics coordination.
- Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
