IMMIGRATION SOLICITOR
Location: Office-based in Bedford or Hybrid
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 9.00am–5.30pm
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience plus benefits

The Role of Immigration Solicitor

You will manage your own caseload and provide high-quality legal advice across a broad range of immigration matters, including:

• Business, Work, Student, Family and Visitor visas
• Sponsor Licence Applications
• Advice on migrant employees
• Settlement in the UK and Indefinite Leave to Remain
• Extension Applications
• British Citizenship and EEA Applications
• Human Rights & Asylum
• Deportation & Removals

Candidate Specification for this Immigration Solicitor role

• A minimum of 3 years’ PQE as an Immigration Solicitor
• Strong client care skills and the ability to provide professional, competent legal advice in accordance with the SRA Code of Conduct
• Proven experience managing own caseload
• Excellent drafting, writing and communication skills
• Strong IT and technical abilities
• Effective business development and marketing skills
• The ability to generate fees in line with agreed targets
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines
