This is a fantastic multidisciplinary opportunity for an experienced engineer with a passion for both mechanical and electrical systems to spearhead innovative product development, guide a growing design team, and contribute directly within a growing, environmental industry sector. THE ROLE Your responsibilities as a Technical Design Engineer will include: Supporting the Design Team Leader with the day-to-day operation, mentoring, and organisation of the design and technical team. Taking full ownership of mechanical and electrical design activities from initial concept through to manufacturing and testing. Acting as the primary technical contact for engineering and technical enquiries across the entire business. Producing and reviewing high-level 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, control schematics, and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs). Checking and signing off bespoke project drawings, technical manuals, and engineering documentation produced across the department. Driving the delivery of key RandD projects and supporting the introduction of new bespoke customer solutions.
