Shift Supervisor – Recycling / Manufacturing – Wolverhampton

£18.00 per hour | Rotating Shifts | Temp to Perm | Immediate Start


 Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Shift Supervisor to join a busy recycling and production facility based in Wolverhampton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in a manufacturing or recycling environment.

 
 Shift Details:

• Rotating Shifts: 6:00am – 3:00pm and 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  
  
• Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour
  
  
• Location: Wolverhampton (own transport required)

The Role: 
As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of production operatives, ensuring that daily targets are met safely and efficiently. You’ll play a key part in maintaining smooth production flow and ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

 
Duties include:

• Supervising and motivating staff on shift
• Managing daily production schedules and ensuring targets are achieved
• Carrying out basic maintenance and fault-finding on production line equipment
• Monitoring health & safety, quality, and performance standards
• Ensuring smooth shift handovers and accurate reporting
• Supporting the management team with training, performance reviews, and improvement initiative

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Shift Supervisor, Team Leader, or Production Supervisor
• Background in a recycling, manufacturing, or production environment
• Ability to carry out basic mechanical maintenance or troubleshooting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Own transport essential due to site location
