Groundworker

Location:-HAYLING ISLAND - HAMPSHIRE-

7.30AM - 4PM
Salary:182 PER DAY CIS PAY

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Groundworker to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of groundwork duties as part of busy team and have previous experince in a simlar role

• Carrying out all aspects of groundwork, including drainage, foundations, kerbing, edging, and paving.
• Excavation and preparation of sites for construction projects.
• Installing drainage systems, manholes, and ducting.
• Laying concrete and assisting with foundations.
• Operating plant and machinery where qualified.
• Reading and interpreting site plans and drawings.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Groundworker role.
• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Desirable Qualifications

• CPCS or NPORS Plant Tickets.
• Dumper and/or Roller Tickets.
