A leading membership organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Conference and Events Assistant to join its dynamic Education and Events team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong interest in event management and customer service to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of over 70 events each year.About the RoleYou will play a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and delivery of high-quality events, acting as a primary point of contact for delegates and providing essential administrative and logistical support. From managing bookings and communications to assisting on-site at events, you will help create an outstanding experience for attendees and stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver excellent customer service by handling event enquiries via email and phoneManage the end-to-end event booking process, ensuring accurate and timely communicationsMaintain and update delegate records in CRM and events systemsSupport the preparation of event materials, including name badges, sign-in sheets and speaker informationAssist with event logistics, including setup, registration, and on-site coordinationContribute to event marketing activities such as email campaigns, website updates, and social mediaHelp source venues and materials for upcoming eventsSupport reporting, including delegate numbers, feedback, and financial administrationOccasionally take the lead on smaller eventsAbout YouStrong interest in events, with an interest in developing
