We''re recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for a fantastic Primary SEN school in East London. The school supports students aged 2 - 11 with a range of SEN, including Complex Needs, Profound Needs, Medical Needs and learning difficulties. Classes are small and nurturing, with a strong focus on development, independence, and wellbeing. What you''ll be doing - 1:1 and small group support: Work alongside students in lessons across the curriculum- Personalised learning: Help adapt resources and deliver interventions to meet individual EHCP targets - Behaviour and emotional support: Be a calm, consistent presence and help students develop social and self-regulation skills- Collaboration: Work closely with class teachers and support staff to track progress- Enrichment: Support with break times, trips, and extra-curricular activities What we''re looking for- Experience supporting Primary age students with SEN in a school setting- Care experience of childsren with SEN- Patience, resilience, and a positive, can-do attitude- Good literacy and numeracy skills- Team player who can also use initiative- Care Assistant or MAPA training is a bonus, but not essential.
