Interim Group Financial Controller3 months initially (phone number removed)pa (pro-rata), Open to daily ratesHybrid working in central London, 3 days a week on site About the clientMorgan Law are seeking an interim Group Financial Controller for a Charity in the London area.AccountabilitiesResponsible for the preparation of Financial Statements for audit and liaising with the charities Group Auditors to complete the annual audit to the agreed timetableResponsible for the timely and accurate completion of all Corporation Tax and VAT returns and ensuring that the charity is compliant with all relevant regulations Ensure the direction and priorities are identified, set and understood by all finance team members, and to take responsibility for the development and motivation of the team Prepare the management accounts for all the operations in line with the monthly accounting timetablePrepare and deliver the operational audit plan and timetable and conducting the Group AuditThe post holder will be required to present relevant financial reports at Group Finance, Audit and Investment committees and subsidiary entity Board meetingsEssential RequirementsFully qualified CCAB/CIMA accountant Recent experience working in a not for profit environment Knowledge of business operations processes, in a voluntary sector environmentKnowledge of SORP, charitable finance regulations and key strategic and funder finance reportingKnowledge of corporation tax and VAT regulations in a voluntary sect
