We are seeking an organised, proactive On-Site Document Controller to join a large industrial construction site in Avonmouth, Bristol. Working on-site 5 days a week, you will be the central point of contact for all site documentation, document control processes, and records management, ensuring that technical files and project information run smoothly and efficiently.

• Document Management & Control: Manage, organise, and update all site documentation, drawing registers, and technical submittals, keeping physical files and digital Common Data Environments (CDE) / electronic filing systems meticulously structured and up to date.

• Compliance & Version Control: Ensure strict quality control over all incoming and outgoing project documentation, tracking revisions, approvals, and compliance records across the site management team.

• Site Support & Inductions: Assist with general site coordination, document tracking, and occasionally support site operations-including welcoming new contractors/visitors and maintaining accurate induction logs where required.

• Experience: Previous experience as a Document Controller within a construction, civil engineering, industrial, or heavy engineering environment is highly desirable. Candidates with strong, structured information management or administrative backgrounds in technical sectors will also be considered.

• Organisation & IT Skills: Exceptional attention to detail with advanced proficiency in managing complex physical and digital filing systems, document management software, and databases.

• Communication: Confident communication skills to liaise professionally with site workers, project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders.

• Presence: Comfortable working on a busy construction site environment 5 days a week.
