Site Engineer - Water / Civils - SuffolkAn established infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support the delivery of major water infrastructure works on a high-profile UK construction programme.This is a site-based engineering position with a strong focus on setting out, quality assurance and day-to-day civil engineering delivery across potable water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.The project is being delivered within a highly regulated environment, so this would suit an engineer who is comfortable working to robust safety, quality and documentation standards.The RoleWorking closely with the Site Agent, Sub Agent and wider construction team, you will be responsible for: Setting out civil engineering works accurately using total station/GPS equipment Establishing and maintaining site control and survey information Producing and maintaining accurate setting-out records Completing QA documentation, inspection records and ITPs Supporting the delivery of reinforced concrete, drainage, pipework and associated civils Checking drawings, specifications and construction information Identifying technical issues and raising RFIs where required Producing as-built information and maintaining site records Supporting RAMS, permits and safe systems of work Monitoring subcontractor works against drawings and specifications Liaising with supervisors, subcontractors, designers and the wider delivery team Ensuring works are completed safely, ..... full job details .....
