Job Title: Private Client Tax SeniorLocation: Hertfordshire, St Albans Office Salary: £41,500 - £45,000 + dependent on experience!The Role: I''m on the hunt for an experienced Tax Senior to join my clients growing Private Client Tax team in the St Albans office. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a varied personal tax portfolio while working closely with Managers, Directors and Partners on both compliance and advisory work. You''ll act as the main point of contact for your clients, building strong relationships, and delivering high quality tax solutions across a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, owner managed businesses and partnerships. Key responsibilities will include: Managing a mixed private client portfolio, covering all routine personal tax complianceActing as the primary contact for clients and attending client meetingsAdvising individuals with earned, investment and property incomeWorking with owner-managed businesses, partnerships and high-net-worth individualsHandling a range of Capital Gains Tax mattersAssisting with and delivering ad-hoc private client advisory workLiaising with colleagues across the wider firm on client mattersProposing fees, raising bills and monitoring WIP and recoverability Skills, Knowledge and Expertise: ATT and/or CTA qualified (or actively studying towards CTA)Previous experience managing a personal tax portfolioStrong knowledge of Self-Assessment and tax computationsExperience advising on EIS, VCT
