Remedy Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work across schools in South East London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting children and young people with special educational needs. We are looking for caring, patient and proactive individuals who can provide tailored support, encourage independence and help pupils reach their full potential.

Whether you have previous SEN experience or are looking to build your career in special educational needs, we would love to hear from you!

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEN.

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.

• Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.

• Helping manage behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Adapting support to meet individual learning needs.

• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and communication skills.

• Previous experience supporting children or young people is desirable.

• Experience working with SEN, including ASD, ADHD or additional learning needs, is an advantage.

• A patient, understanding and enthusiastic approach.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A genuine passion for helping children overcome barriers to learning.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
