Buyer / QS We are currently looking for a Buyer /Quantity Surveyor to work in a Reputable SME local business that provides construction services for residential, commercial and mixed use developments. The role Produce and provide accurate forecasts of project cost to completion and final valuePreparing forecast reports for procurement of materials / labour and all other associated itemsContinually monitor projected costs to completion in line with budgetEnsure contract variations are identified, valued and turned into agreed variation orders with the customer in a timely mannerEnsure that each sub-contractors account is managed strictly in accordance with their terms and conditionsVetting tenders and speaking with wholesalers and suppliers to help manage costsVariations and claims - facilitate the resolution of disputes relating to outstanding payments to subcontractors and creditorsProducing monthly contract reports detailing current status of the contracts, including cash flow forecasts and liabilitiesProvide input in construction project commercial/legal/strategic meetings Candidates must have -Previous experience and qualifications as a QS or BuyerExtensive experience in the QS / Buying sector Knowledge of the residential and construction market To register your interest and inquire about interviews please send your
