Senior VMware Cloud Foundation Engineer - Active SC ClearanceDerby | £500-£552.50/day | Inside IR35 | Long-term programme | Secure environmentWe are building a pipeline of experienced Senior VMware Cloud Foundation Engineers with active SC clearance for an anticipated long-term infrastructure programme based across secure sites in Derby.The programme is expected to run through to December 2027, with two engineers required on a staggered basis. The first is expected to join during the design phase from late October, with a second engineer following in late November.This will suit experienced VMware specialists who are comfortable working in complex, highly secure infrastructure environments and who can contribute at both design and hands-on delivery level.The roleYou will work as part of a senior engineering team supporting the design, build and delivery of a large-scale VMware Cloud Foundation environment.Depending on your background, responsibilities are likely to include:VMware Cloud Foundation design, build and implementation.Supporting the transition from design into engineering delivery.Deployment, configuration and optimisation of VCF environments.Working across VMware networking, storage, automation and resilience technologies.Troubleshooting complex virtualisation and infrastructure issues.Producing and working from technical design documentation.Supporting migration, upgrade and transformation activity.Working collaboratively with architects, engineers and wider ..... full job details .....
