This is a full-time, long-term position. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in education, child development, psychology, mental health, behaviour support, or care work.As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support children and young people aged 5-16 with a range of additional needs including Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties, Speech, Language and Communication Needs, challenging behaviour and physical disabilities.You will help:Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions.Support students with autism, communication needs, and emotional regulation.Help manage behaviour using positive behaviour strategies, de-escalation techniques, and restorative approaches.Support pupils with classroom learning, daily routines, and sensory activities.Build positive relationships with students and staff.Help children develop social skills, confidence, independence and self-esteem.The school are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant who is compassionate, dedicated and passionate about working with SEN.
