Year 6 Teacher
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum, with a particular focus on literacy and numeracy. You will support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally, creating a positive and structured learning environment during this important stage of their education. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum. Support pupils with SATs preparation and assessment requirements. Track, assess, and report on pupil progress effectively. Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners. Promote positive behaviour and high expectations. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents. Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 6. Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessments. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
