Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Design Engineer to lead our design engineering function, supporting the development of PV and other renewable energy projects. This role will oversee the design process and manage a team of designers.Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of design engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Develop photovoltaic (PV) and other project-related designs using AutoCAD Map, PVCase, and PVSyst, ensuring alignment with site-specific conditions, industry standards, and project constraints.Generate detailed maps and technical plans utilizing raster and vector datasets, including contour lines, Digital Terrain Models (DTM), and Digital Surface Models (DSM).Maintain and update the drawing template library to support consistency and efficiency across design outputs.Prepare and revise technical drawings and maps to support the Development Team, including Option and Lease plans, Planning Application drawings (e.g., annotated site maps, general arrangement drawings, cross-sections, and construction details), and where appropriate, 3D models and animations for project visualization.Stay informed on advancements in procurement practices and emerging technologies within the industry, incorporating relevant innovations into design strategies and workflows.
