Development Test Engineer Outside IR35 We are looking for an experienced Development Test Engineer for an initial 12-month contract to support the planning, execution and reporting of Verification and Validation (VandV) activities within our clients engineering team. Key Responsibilities Design and plan VandV activities. Create Test Plans, Test Protocols, Test Cases and Test Methods. Support test execution, anomaly management and reporting. Create and maintain test documentation and reporting templates. Review Test Plans, Test Results and technical documentation. Support continuous improvement of test processes and methodologies. Skills and Experience Good understanding of software behaviour and development. Understanding of control/command systems and physical/mechanical processes. Knowledge of qualification and statistical methods, including MSA and Six Sigma. Strong technical writing and documentation skills. Experience with tools such as Polarion, Jira or Azure DevOps (ADO). Good reporting skills using Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools. Basic understanding of scripting/pseudo-code such as Python, VBA or HTML. Personal Skills Independent, proactive and organised. Strong team player with clear communication skills. Practical and solution focused. Flexible and comfortable working within evolving requirements.
