We are seeking a highly skilled CNC 5-Axis Programmer, Setter and Operator to join our manufacturing clients team. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating advanced CNC machinery to produce high-precision components. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience with various manufacturing processes, including grinding, milling, and plastics injection moulding. Duties Develop and input CNC programmes using CAD/CAM software, primarily SolidWorks and other relevant tools. Set up CNC machines accurately, ensuring proper alignment of tooling and fixtures. Operate 5-Axis CNC machines to produce complex parts with tight tolerances. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on CNC equipment. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised tooling to assemble components as required. Conduct quality checks on machined parts using precision measurement instruments. Assist in the optimisation of machining processes for efficiency and quality improvements. Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
