You will be confident adapting your teaching style, pace and resources to meet individual learning needs, while creating a calm and positive environment where the learner can build confidence and engage with English.Experience supporting young people who have experienced barriers to mainstream education, anxiety, school avoidance, disengagement or SEMH needs would be highly desirable.This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work.The role may involve:Providing personalised one-to-one English tuition to secondary-aged learners.Supporting learners with SEND and individual learning needs.Supporting the secondary English curriculum, including GCSE where appropriate.Developing reading, writing, comprehension, spelling, grammar and vocabulary skills.Identifying gaps in knowledge and providing targeted support.Planning engaging, accessible and appropriately challenging English lessons.Adapting teaching methods, resources and lesson pace to suit individual needs.Supporting learners who may lack confidence or have experienced difficulties with English.Creating a ..... full job details .....
