Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical)

Salary:43,000 + shift allowance

Our client, a well-established manufacturing business, is seeking a-Mechanical Maintenance Engineer-to join their maintenance team in Kidderminster.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment, including die-casting machines, furnaces, robots and presses, ensuring maximum reliability and minimal downtime.

Key Requirements:

• Apprentice-trained Mechanical Engineer.
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Experience within a heavy manufacturing or die-casting environment is highly desirable.
• Welding and fabrication skills are advantageous.
• Forklift and crane licences would be beneficial.
