Payroll and Finance Officer- Holywood- UrgentReed Recruitment is working with a well-known institution based in Holywood. Our client has an urgent requirement for an experienced Payroll and Finance Officer to join their team at the start of September.This is a temporary assignment for a period of three months, however a permanent opportunity may be available dependent on performance.The role is offering a competitive salary, weekly pay, and the opportunity to work within a busy and supportive administrative functionDaily Duties:Process payroll for main staff ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.Calculate pro-rata payments for mid-month starters and leavers, and process arrears payments as necessary.Verify timesheets, overtime claims, and other payroll-related documentation.Maintain employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, and changes to terms and conditions.Prepare and submit monthly returns and payments, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.Issue monthly payslips, P45s, and assist with year-end payroll activities such as P60s.Undertake auto-enrolment and re-enrolment duties, and manage pension returns.Financial Administration:Use IT system to facilitate the collection of paymentsAdminister payments and receipts ensuring adherence to financial procedures.Support petty cash management and assist with the administration of accounts payable.Maintain and update payroll and financial procedures to ensure continuity and compliance.General ..... full job details .....
