Morva Recruitment-are seeking a highly experienced Commercial Site Manager to lead a significant commercial construction project in West Cornwall, based in St Ives. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic site for approximately 12 months, with the potential to secure permanent employment based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and within budget

• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams effectively

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including site safety and quality standards

• Coordinate with project stakeholders and report progress regularly

• Resolve site issues proactively to maintain workflow efficiency

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience managing commercial construction projects

• Strong background in carpentry preferred

• Valid SMSTS certification

• First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
