Job title: General Assistant / Cleaner
Location: Bristol
Start Dates: ASAP
Duration: 31st October with potential of extension
Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour

Hours: 4 days on, 2 days off - shifts include weekends and bank holidays
Shift Times: 07:00-15:30 or 07:30-16:00

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking General Assistants/Cleaners to join our client, a global leader in aviation services. This role offers variety and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting airline catering and logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

Production area:

- Prepare and plate food for airline use
- Handle packed food items
- Pack amenity kits and flight condiments

Wash area:

- General cleaning of equipment and surfaces
- Waste removal
- Wash airline equipment to strict hygiene standards

Equipment area:

- Stack and rotate stock on shelves
- Monitor and re-order dry stock

Search and Seal Area:

- Inspect goods to ensure no prohibited items
- Check for damaged stock
- Complete required documentation

General Cleaning Duties:

- Follow daily cleaning regimes
- Maintain high hygiene standards
- Tasks include mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying bins, cleaning washrooms, and working in the wash area

Skills and Experience Required:

- Comfortable handling pork, tobacco, and alcohol products
- Able to stand for long periods with good mobility
- Willing to work in a chilled environment (preferable but not essential)
- Good understanding of English (spoken and written)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to quality, hygiene, and meeting deadlines
