This is an excellent opportunity to support a growing business to define, establish and scale the finance function and ensuring it remains fit for purpose throughout its planned expansion over the next few years. This is a broad, hands-on and newly created ''number 2'' role that will support an experienced Chief Financial Officer.Your core responsibilities will include:Managing the insourcing of the finance operations functionsSetting up new processes, establishing controls, and implementing tools and systems as the company growsRunning an efficient month and quarter-end close processManaging the integration of new acquisitionsMaintaining accurate financial recordsPreparation of the annual statutory accountsAssisting with annual audit processManaging a direct reportThe successful candidate will be an ACA qualified accountant having trained in a reputable accounting firm and working as a Senior Financial Accountant, Finance Manager or Financial Controller in a growth business in the UK.
