This hybrid role involves operating a refuse collection vehicle and assisting with physical waste collection tasks. While driving is required, much of the role involves refuse loading duties.Key Responsibilities Driving: Operate a Class 2 refuse lorry safely in residential and urban areas.Manual Handling: Load and unload bins and waste materials; assist other loaders as needed.Teamwork: Collaborate with other crew members to complete routes efficiently.Health and Safety: Follow all relevant safety protocols while driving and loading.Customer Interaction: Represent the Council professionally when engaging with the public.
