Our client, a prominent player in the Defence sector, is currently seeking an Industrial Validation Engineer to join their team in Greater Manchester or Hertfordshire. This permanent role is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team responsible for the technical validation of external supply chain activities, ensuring the successful delivery of parts / projects required for full-rate production.Key Responsibilities:Assess and validate suppliers'' capability to meet requirementsSupport suppliers to develop robust manufacturing systems and control plansConduct Industrial Validation activities such as Process FMEAs and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessmentsManage a portfolio of suppliers across multiple projectsIdentify and communicate manufacturing and supply chain risks, implementing improvement and mitigation plansHandle elements of manufacturing capability transfer from in-house to supplierTrack and report validation status to senior Industrial Engineers, management, and stakeholdersJob Requirements:Experience in Manufacturing Engineering with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniquesDesirable experience in manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI) within the Aerospace or Defence sectorsProficiency in Industrial Validation tools such as Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Process FMEAs, and Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessmentsSkilled in problem-solving and improvement toolsetsStrong analytical abilities and proficienc
