We are recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join the night team at a well-established, family-owned residential care home in Southminster, Essex.

Providing exceptional care since 1988, this welcoming home specialises in supporting older people in a comfortable, homely environment where residents are always placed at the heart of everything they do. With just 25 beds, the home offers a close-knit community atmosphere, allowing staff to build meaningful relationships and deliver truly person-centred care.

As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, comfortable and supported throughout the night. You will provide high-quality care, respond to residents'' needs, and help maintain a calm and reassuring environment while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care during night shifts
• Assist residents with personal care and mobility needs
• Carry out regular welfare and comfort checks
• Respond promptly to call bells and resident requests
• Support residents who may require reassurance during the night
• Maintain accurate care records and handovers
• Promote residents'' dignity, privacy and independence
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent standards of care

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
• A caring, patient and compassionate nature
• Ability to work effectively and confidently during night shifts
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and professional approach

• Salary of £33,696 per annum
