Our Court of Protection team supports vulnerable clients with mental impairments and their families to navigate issues or disputes relating to their health and welfare, including care arrangements, living arrangements, medical treatment, and contact with family members. This is a rewarding area of law that combines legal analysis with direct client interaction, advocacy, and multidisciplinary working to protect the rights and welfare of vulnerable individuals. Key Responsibilities Managing a varied caseload of Health and Welfare matters, delivering high-quality legal advice and representation. Maintaining accurate case records, diaries, and key deadlines in line with firm procedures. Utilising case management systems, legal databases, and Microsoft Office applications effectively. Applying detailed knowledge of relevant legal forms, processes, and procedures. Ensuring compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and Legal Aid Agency requirements. Adhering to all regulatory obligations, including SRA standards, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, and Data Protection legislation.
