Location: London (2-3 days per week in the office)Day Rate: £500-£550 per day (Outside IR35)Duration: 6 months (initial)A high-growth, well-funded business progressing toward a public listing is seeking a Senior SOX Analyst with a financial and IT controls focus.This role sits in the second line of defence and will support the build-out of a SOX-compliant control framework from the ground up, in an environment where processes are still being defined.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement SOX controls across financial and IT processesBuild and document control frameworks aligned to evolving business processesWork with finance and technology teams to ensure controls are practical and scalableSupport the development of IT general controls (ITGCs) and financial reporting controlsPartner with stakeholders to embed a consistent control environmentSupport SOX readiness activity ahead of a potential listingRequirementsQualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent)Experience working within a SOX framework (second line of defence)Strong understanding of financial controls and IT SOX (including ITGCs)Experience designing and implementing controls in a changing environmentComfortable working in a hands-on capacityAble to work in London a couple of times per week
