We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Handyman to work on a construction site in Appleby-in-Westmorland (CA16 6AA).

This is a great opportunity for a hardworking and versatile individual looking for a short-term role within the construction sector, offering a competitive rate of -16.57 per hour PAYE over an expected duration of 2 months.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance, basic repairs and handyman duties around the construction site, helping to ensure the site remains safe, tidy and well maintained.

The role will involve completing a variety of general maintenance tasks, assisting trades and site personnel where required, and following all site health and safety procedures.

As this position is based on a construction site, all applicants must hold a valid CSCS card and be comfortable working in a construction environment.

• Valid CSCS card - essential

• Previous Handyman or general maintenance experience

• Experience carrying out basic repairs and maintenance

• Good practical skills and ability to use basic hand tools

• Good communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Right to work in the UK
