Our client, a leading FX trading firm in London, is seeking an experienced Core Java Engineer to join their elite technology team. You’ll be working on business-critical trading platforms where speed, scalability, and reliability are paramount.What you’ll do

Design, develop, and optimise low-latency, high-throughput trading systemsApply deep expertise in Core Java, multithreading, and concurrencyCollaborate with quant teams, traders, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutionsEnhance system performance through latency optimisation, profiling, and tuningWork in an agile, collaborative environment with a strong engineering cultureWhat we’re looking for

Strong background in Core Java (8+) developmentProven experience building low-latency, high-performance systemsExpertise in multithreading, concurrency, and garbage collection tuningUnderstanding of networking, messaging, and distributed systemsExperience in financial services (FX, trading, or similar) is highly desirableStrong problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressureThe role is 3 days a week onsite in London and 2 days WFH, please apply for immediate consideration.Seniority level
