Senior Project Manager - Software Development

Are you a seasoned Project Manager with a passion for software development and a knack for keeping complex projects on track? We''re on the lookout for an experienced Senior PM to join a growing team in Gateshead.

What''s the role?
You''ll be leading the charge on a range of exciting software projects, working closely with developers, QA, stakeholders (internal and external), and clients to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You''ll be the glue that holds everything together - from sprint planning to stakeholder updates, you''ll make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

What we''re looking for:

• Proven experience managing software development projects (agile, waterfall, or hybrid)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A cool head under pressure and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Experience working in regulated environments (financial services, energy, etc.) is a big plus
• Prince 2 Practitioner or APM PPQ/PMI or PMP
• Agile Certification such as CSM or AgilePM
• Awareness of ITIL would be highly advantageous
• Proven experience with Azure DevOps
• Based within commuting distance of Gateshead - we offer hybrid working, but expect our teams working together in the office 2 days per week.
