We are currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming secondary school in Watford, supporting students across KS3 and KS4.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a role with the potential to become permanent.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and students to provide effective classroom support and help pupils achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support within the classroom
• Supporting students across KS3 and KS4
• Working with students with SEN and additional learning needs
• Delivering and supporting targeted intervention programmes
• Helping students remain engaged and focused on their learning
• Supporting teachers with the day-to-day management of the classroom
• Building positive and trusting relationships with students
• Encouraging students'' confidence, independence and academic progress

About You

The school is looking for:

• Experienced working within a secondary school setting - essential
• Experienced in supporting students with SEN
• Confident working with students across KS3 and KS4
• Patient, nurturing and supportive
• Proactive and able to use initiative
• Passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed
• Able to work effectively as part of a wider school team
