Manufacturing Engineer - Defence and Military Systems - PermanentAttractive - South-West - Fixed Term ContractA Manufacturing Engineer is required to join an International Defence Systems company that designs, manufactures, and supports world leading Military Systems. The successful Manufacturing Engineer will be reporting to the Head of Quality, and the Manufacturing Engineer will improve the end-to-end supply chain quality performance of specific assigned suppliers, internal products, or services.The Manufacturing Engineer will manage supplier concerns and assist in the leading of APQP activities both internally and external with customers and suppliers. The Manufacturing Engineer will conduct problem resolution and other continuous improvement initiatives and activities. The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly to the Quality Manager.Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the following: Devise and own specific elements of the quality improvement road map.Support the implementation and subsequently maintain systems and procedures.Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO9001 Quality systems and Quality requirements.Lead the implementation of specific, focussed ''Quality Improvement Programmes''Use KPI Analysis, FMEA and other relevant tools and techniques.Record and generate supplier quality performance figures for the review of Senior Management.Supporting the successful implementation of Production Quality Plans for New Product Introduction.Reviews and Map processe
