This is a hands-on role within a physically demanding environment, working on large-scale plant and conveyor systems where reliability is critical to production.The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring equipment is running safely and efficiently at all times. The role involves working on conveyors and associated machinery, carrying out routine maintenance such as lubrication, and supporting the installation and setup of blades to high tolerance standards.You will also play a key role in reducing downtime, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and working closely with operations to keep production running smoothly.
