Position: Biology Lecturer Location: Greater Manchester Salary: £30 - £40 per hour Contract Type: Full-Time (Temporary) Start Date: ASAP Eden Brown are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Biology Lecturer to join our vibrant academic team for a full-time, temporary position. This is to teaching Biology to Access students and will be to cover sickness for at least 5 weeks, possibly longer. 36 hours per week paid. Key Responsibilities: Delivering high-quality lessons in Biology at Level 3 (Access to Biology) Developing engaging and informative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support where necessary Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment Collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistent delivery of the curriculum Supporting students in achieving their academic goals and progressing onto higher education Requirements: A relevant degree in Biology (or equivalent qualification) Teaching experience, particularly at Level 3 or Access level (preferred but not essential) Strong communication and interpersonal skills A passion for teaching and a genuine commitment to student success A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory An enhanced DBS check is also needed for this role.
