We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Animal Care and Grounds Assistant to join a small, friendly team based on the outskirts of Maldon. This is a hands on role that would suit someone who enjoys caring for animals and takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well presented environment. Working Hours Monday to Friday 4 hours per day/20 hours per week Duties will include: Feeding and caring for dogs on site Putting dogs into and out of kennels Cleaning and maintaining kennel areas Feeding chickens and collecting eggs Grass cutting using a ride on lawn mower Strimming and general grounds maintenance Manual weeding and upkeep of outdoor areas Ensuring animal welfare standards are maintained at all times The Ideal Candidate Will: Be a genuine animal lover with a caring and patient nature Be comfortable handling dogs of various breeds and sizes Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions Be reliable, proactive, and able to work independently Have a good level of physical fitness Have previous animal care experience, although this is not essential Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own transport due to the rural location What Our Client Offer Permanent part time position Friendly and supportive working environment Vari
