This setting supports children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning difficulties, sensory processing needs, and communication challenges. In this role, you will provide 1:1 and group support tailored to pupils with autism, helping them access the curriculum and thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. You will be working closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and the SEN team to provide consistency, structure, and a safe learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Deliver targeted support to students with autism, adapting your approach to meet individual sensory, behavioural, and communication needs. Support students using structured systems such as PECS, Makaton, TEACCH, or visual schedules. Assist with daily routines and transitions, helping reduce anxiety and promote independence.
