Applications are welcomed from candidates with either manual or CNC machining experience. You do not need to have experience across every type of machinery; the position can be tailored to make the best use of your existing skills. The roleWorking from engineering drawings and customer specifications, you will manufacture, modify, repair and maintain precision tooling and engineered components. Depending on your experience, your responsibilities may include:Manufacturing precision tools, moulds, fixtures and components.Operating manual or CNC milling, turning and other machine tools.Producing one-off and small-batch components to tight tolerances.Carrying out tooling modifications, repairs and refurbishment work.Setting and operating machinery safely and efficiently.Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings.Inspecting completed components using precision measuring equipment.Identifying and resolving machining, tooling and dimensional issues.Working closely with design, manufacturing and assembly colleagues.Ensuring completed work meets the required quality and delivery standards.Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment.The position offers varied engineering work rather than repetitive, high-volume ..... full job details .....
