My client, an independent, innovative Multidisciplinary Consultancy is currently searching for a Senior Civil and Structural Technician to join their experienced team of drainage and highways engineers, based near the lively city of Swansea, located on the beautiful Gower Peninsula. Essential Criteria: Extensive industry experience within a consultancy-based roleExperience of having line managed a team of CAD TechniciansGood working knowledge of drafting standards, within the industryDemonstrable experience of having worked with steel, concrete, masonry, and timberExperience of drafting underground drainage, SuDS, and highways applications, with reference to the relevant Section Agreements (i.e., S104, S38, S278, etc.)Excellent proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, RevitOutstanding IT skills, including in the Microsoft Office packageExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFull UK driving licence and access to own vehicleIt would also benefit applicants for the role of Senior Civil and Structural Technician to possess the following skills: - Knowledge of NavisWorks/WalkInside- Experience with the Microsoft Sharepoint system- Familiarity with the local region- Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team- Excellent time management In the varied role of Senior Civil and Structural Technician, you will join a dedicated team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career and working to attain a professional qualification.
