Overview Our leading Financial Services Sector Client is continuing a high growth trajectory, coupled with an ambitious transformation programme are now seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to join their local team. As Data Governance Lead you will spearhead Group data governance initiatives and ensure the integrity, quality, and security of the company''s data assets, while also responsible for developing and implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and processes to support strategic objectives and regulatory compliance requirements. Specific responsibilities will include: Support in the development and articulation of the data governance vision, strategy and roadmap Define data governance objectives, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs) Establish governance structures, roles, and responsibilities to support effective data stewardship and accountability Support in the development, implementation and maintenance of data governance policies, standards, and procedures Define data classification schemes, data ownership models, and data lifecycle management practices Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices Establish and enforce data quality standards, processes, metrics, and monitoring mechanisms Collaborate with data owners and data champions to identify data quality issues and root causes Implement data quality improvement initiatives and corrective actions as needed Conduct data governance assessments
