The role: Reporting into our Demand Planning Manager, you will be tasked with understanding all retailer forecasting systems and work alongside our other planners to create production schedules, packing plans as well as manage finished goods stocks with a short shelf life. Day to day duties will be: Organising own workload to meet allocated schedules / KPI s and to deliver an accurate and reliable service to both management and the customer. Analysing customer forecast data, comparing with anticipated forecasts and identifying any anomalies therein. Utilisation of an Excel based system to compare customer/supplier sales data to provide the business with an indication of the most accurate likely sales outcome for any given period.
