Our client, a leading firm within the water industry, is currently seeking skilled Design Managers to join their team. This role focuses on civil engineering projects within wastewater infrastructure, including CSOs and pipelines, across multiple locations such as Epsom, London, Peterborough, and Cambridge.

• Managing the design process for civil engineering projects in the water sector
• Coordinating with project teams to ensure designs comply with industry standards and client requirements
• Overseeing the design of wastewater infrastructure, including CSOs and pipelines
• Ensuring project milestones and deliverables are met within the set timelines
• Collaborating with stakeholders in Thames, Anglian, and SEW regions to ensure effective delivery of projects
• Providing technical guidance and support to design teams
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and records
• Reporting on project progress to senior management and clients

• Considerable experience in civil engineering design, particularly within the water sector
• Understanding of wastewater infrastructure projects and associated regulations
• Proficiency in design management tools and software
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a hybrid working model (3 days on-site, rest working from home)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
• Prior experience working within Thames, Anglian, or SEW regions is advantageous

• Location: Epsom, London, Peterborough, Cambridge
• Contract Type: 12 months initial contract, ongoing
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (preferred 3 days on-site, rest working from home)
• Status: Inside IR35
