Insight Executive Group are supporting a public sector client within Yorkshire to appoint an Estates Officer with an Electrical bias to their team. You MUST have a Low Voltage Authorised Persons qualification. (APLV) Ideally the client would like an interim to permanent solution, 3 months interim contract and then move onto a substantive post. The hourly rate is 28, paid via an Umbrella Company. The Estates Officer (Electrical) will hold responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep of electrical engineering services throughout the site. This includes all LV infrastructure, standby power including UPS, key systems, lighting, power, lifts and all other engineering services as designated by the Estates Operations Manager (Electrical) and the Head of Estates. Main duties: Deputise for the Estates Operations Manager and other Estates Officers as required Actively participate in the implementation, operation, and improvement of computer aided facilities management (CAFM) software, identifying and utilising methods to monitor work streams and gaps in compliance. Prepare reports on a wide range of subjects, such as response time analysis, compliance.
