A Quality Inspector is required for a large steel processing company based in the Dudley area.You will be responsible for using verniers and tape measures for the inspection of large steel components, such as 6m rolled channels and flat plates, used in the construction of turbines, filters and associated equipment for use in nuclear power plants.You will be responsible for;Inspect large steel components with tight tolerancesUsing verniers and tape measureVisually checking measurements cross referencing paperworkOperating overhead cranes to manoeuvre the large stockTo be considered you need to have similar quality inspection experience using tape measures and verniers and ideally experience operating overhead cranes.The role is working the following mornings / afternoons rotating shift pattern -9:00am - 5:00pm Monday to FridayPaying 13.00 per hourThis Quality Inspector role is a temp-to-perm position with a probationary period through the agency.If you think this Quality Inspector position is right for you, APPLY NOW!ASC Connections Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
